A: The web site migration service that our company is offering is free of charge (within a certain limit). We will migrate your web site(s) to our state–of–the–art cloud hosting platform without you having to do anything. We know from personal experience that swapping hosting providers can lead to lost data and undesirable downtime. This is the reason why we will perform all that for you for free!We have professional administrators whose primary task is to ensure that your website performs exactly as it did on your previous hosting platform. Our administrators are experts in transferring custom–made websites, as well as websites that are based on well–known web applications like WordPress and Joomla^™.

A: While we cannot give you an exact time window, because there are many factors, including the physical size of the web files and databases, the location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your website and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll give our best to transfer your site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (in case the website content is not very large).

A: We don’t gather any information that is sensitive. We’ll require, however, the login info for your current web hosting account along with the name of the web site that you wish to transfer.

A: Before we can start the migration of your account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share basically the same info you have provided to your current web host. We’ve also got an extremely strict Privacy Policy, which describes how delicate data is handled.

A: Nope. Your website will remain available online during the migration. As soon as everything is completed on our end, we’ll let you know so that you can preview it and check for any problems. If everything is OK, all you will have to do is change your domain’s DNS settings.

A: Nope. We will never touch base with your web hosting provider about anything at all. They won’t be aware of the web site transfer either.

A: We support all Linux–based hosting platforms. In essence, if we can access your Control Panel, we’ll be able to transfer your web site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source website building platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
